Weinhaus Gaudig

About the estate

The Weinhaus Gaudig manages over one hectare of vineyards in the Burgwerbener Herzogsberg site within the Saale-Unstrut wine region. The vineyards are distributed across five parcels and are managed by the young winemaker Patrick Gaudig. The portfolio includes grape varieties such as Portugieser, Pinot Blanc, Silvaner, Chasselas, Dornfelder, and Müller-Thurgau, which is being expanded through new plantings of Kernling. For vinification, the estate relies on careful processing, slow fermentation, and a deliberate resting period. In addition to winemaking, the owner operates a farm tavern and an on-site farm shop.
