About the estate

The L Vinotop winery based in Seitenroda was founded in 2018 by newcomers to the profession. The estate manages an organic vineyard at an altitude of 350 meters in the Saale-Unstrut region, making it one of the highest-elevation vineyards in the area. Cultivation focuses exclusively on fungus-resistant PIWI grape varieties such as Cabernet Cortis, Souvignier Gris, Sauvignac, Riesel, and Solaris. Farming is carried out by hand in harmony with nature, completely avoiding synthetic pesticides and herbicides. In the future, up to 25,000 bottles will be produced from 8,500 vines.
