Weingut Thürkind

About the estate

The family-run Weingut Thürkind estate has been cultivating vineyards south of the Geiseltalsee lake in the Saale-Unstrut region for more than three decades. From a small initial area, the winery has evolved over the generations to encompass around twelve hectares of vines. The portfolio includes various wines, sparkling wines, and barrique-aged bottlings with distinct fruit and aroma profiles. On the estate's own wine court, a vinothek, a seasonal Straußwirtschaft, and accommodation options complement the visitor experience. Distribution includes direct sales at the winery.

The eno directory lists 28 wines, mostly from Pinot Gris and Riesling. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
