About the estate

The United Church and Monastery Chamber estate was founded in 2020 to revive the historical winemaking tradition of the city of Erfurt. Spanning 7.6 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard site Pfaffenlehne, the property primarily cultivates Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, alongside the varieties Viognier and Muscat Blanc. The vineyards are located within the Saale-Unstrut wine region. The estate manages its vines according to the strict organic viticulture guidelines of the ECOVIN association. This regionally focused production combines ecological sustainability with the support of social foundation purposes.
