About the estate

The Weingut Herzer estate is located in the idyllic village of Roßbach in the Saale-Unstrut region and is run by a family that laid the foundation for the winery in 1992 by acquiring a vineyard. The vineyards are cultivated using close-to-nature and environmentally friendly practices, supported by a well-trained team from the local area. The individual sites of Naumburger Steinmeister, Großjenaer Blütengrund, Freyburger Schweigenberg, and Dorndorfer Rappental shape the estate's wines with their diverse soils. The portfolio includes characteristic grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Portugieser.
