About the estate

The Thüringer Weingut Bad Sulza estate was founded in 1992 and currently cultivates 26 hectares of vineyards in the Saale-Unstrut wine-growing region. Under the management of director and trained oenologist Andreas Clauß, the winery presents itself as a modern estate with sites such as the Bad Sulzaer Sonnenberg. Alongside gentle grape processing, the cellar places a strong emphasis on aging the wines on the fine lees to develop their specific varietal and aromatic styles. The portfolio includes traditionally crafted estate wines as well as distinctive specialties and wines from the Excellence category.
