About the estate

The Le Chemin (si Vis Pacem Para Vinum) estate was founded in 2018 by Matthieu and Franck in Languedoc, situated within the Terrasses du Larzac appellation. The winery covers 9.25 hectares of vineyards on clay-limestone soils at altitudes between 170 and 210 meters. The Mediterranean climate, shaped by cool summer nights and the Mistral and Tramontane winds, promotes a slow and gradual ripening of the grapes. All productive plots are farmed organically, guided by a philosophy of minimizing interventions in both the vineyard and the cellar. The resulting wines reflect the unique local terroir by combining a characteristic acidity with generous fruit flavors.
