About the estate
The Vignobles Calvet Thunevin estate was established in 2001 in the foothills of the Pyrenees in Maury through the partnership of winemakers Jean-Luc Thunevin and Jean-Roger Calvet. The first vintage was vinified in a village garage before the property gradually expanded to its current 50 hectares of vineyards. Viticulture is conducted with respect for the environment, and the estate's cuvées are vinified in an ecologically oriented cellar built in 2008. The wines include productions from the AOC Côtes du Roussillon Villages, AOC Maury, and Côtes Catalanes IGP denominations.
The eno directory lists 25 wines, mostly from Grenache.
