About the estate
The Cave de l'Ormarine winery in the Languedoc region originated from the merger of several cooperative wineries and extends from the Cévennes to the Mediterranean Sea. The vineyards comprise diverse terroirs featuring clay-limestone soils, red sandstone, as well as volcanic and gravelly sites. While white grape varieties benefit from the maritime influences of the Mediterranean and the coastal lagoons, plots dedicated to red and rosé wines yield lower quantities. The portfolio includes wines from various appellations, most notably the globally recognized AOC Picpoul de Pinet. The member winemakers collectively uphold a longstanding tradition of viticulture in the south of France.
