About the estate

The small family estate Domaine de Gabelas is located in Cruzy within the Languedoc region, with a history dating back to 1978. The winery cultivates ten hectares of vineyards in the Saint-Chinian appellation, alongside three hectares of olive groves and a flock of sheep. Three generations of winegrowers practice an agropastoral approach on rare soils of tropical origin. During vinification, all chemical additives and mechanical interventions are strictly avoided. Spontaneous fermentation relies entirely on indigenous yeasts present on the grapes to produce distinctive wines.
