About the estate

The Domaine de Favas estate looks back on a long history dating back to 1468 and is managed today in the 22nd generation by brothers Geoffrey and Samuel Masse, following in the footsteps of their grandparents. The property is situated between fragrant scrubland and sun-drenched hills in Languedoc, where the vines thrive in an environment shaped by nature and biodiversity. Cultivation is carried out entirely in accordance with organic farming guidelines and is complemented by regenerative practices such as cover cropping, the presence of animals in the vineyards, and dry stone walls. In the cellar, the winemakers focus on low-intervention vinification, aging their expressive wines in oak barrels as well as handcrafted terracotta jars.
