About the estate
The Scea Domaine Vapillon estate cultivates vineyards across the three terroirs of L’Étoile, Lavigny, and Vernantois. Harvesting takes place at optimal maturity, focusing on the acid-sugar balance and phenolic ripeness for red wines. A new cellar was built in 2017, allowing for temperature control during fermentation. The various cuvées are aged in barrels, casks, and demi-muids, while the Crémant undergoes bottle aging on the lees for twelve to twenty-four months.
