About the estate
The Domaine Berthet-Bondet estate was established in Château-Chalon in the Jura region in 1984, with the first harvest taking place in 1985. After many years under the direction of Chantal and Jean Berthet-Bondet, their daughter Hélène took over management of the estate in 2018. The historic main building features a cellar dating back to the 16th century. The vineyards are situated on fairly steep slopes at altitudes ranging from 200 to 400 meters, characterized by limestone soils and various marl and clay formations.
