Domaine des Ronces

About the estate

Located in Orbagna in the Jura region, the Domaine des Ronces estate was founded in 1950 by Georges Mazier and has remained a family-run operation. After Michel Mazier took over the property in 1986, the vineyard area grew to six hectares and the range was gradually diversified to include grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Trousseau, Poulsard, Pinot Noir, and Savagnin. The winery produces a total of twelve different wines, comprising white wines, crémants, and red wines. The estate began its conversion to organic farming in 2010, followed by a transition to biodynamics and receiving Demeter certification in 2016 when Kevin Mazier succeeded his father Michel.
