About the estate
The Domaine de la Touraize estate is located in Arbois in the Jura region and is managed in the eighth generation by André-Jean and Héléana Morin, with family winemaking traditions dating back to 1704. Spanning ten hectares of vineyards in historical sites within the AOP Arbois appellation, the estate cultivates all traditional regional grape varieties including Chardonnay, Savagnin, Ploussard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir. Soils consisting of blue marls, clay-limestone, clay-silt, and gravel are tended exclusively through mechanical and manual methods, following organic and biodynamic agricultural practices. In the cellar, vinification is carried out naturally utilizing indigenous yeasts for spontaneous fermentation, aging in large wooden vats or tanks, and bottling without fining or filtration.
