About the estate
The Rocco di Carpeneto estate manages just over twelve hectares of vineyards in Carpeneto, Piedmont, as well as in neighboring and Ligurian plots. The winery originated from a project founded in 2008 with a focus on old vines and native grape varieties such as Cortese, Barbera, and Dolcetto. Vineyard management follows minimal intervention principles with permanent spontaneous cover crop and the exclusive use of copper and sulfur. Winemaking involves manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, and the omission of additives, filtration, and fining. The wines fall within the Ovada DOCG denomination.
