The BUSSIA SOPRANA di Casiraghi Silvano e C. s.s. estate was founded in 1992 by Silvano Casiraghi, driven by a strong vocation to produce Nebbiolo grapes for Barolo. Over the years, the property expanded through the incorporation of additional farmsteads in 1995 and 1999. Currently, the winery spans approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, all situated within the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Castiglione Falletto. The estate's historic vineyard sites include Vigna Colonnello, Vigna Gabutti della Bussia, Mosconi, and Bussìa. Vineyard management focuses closely on these renowned locations in Piedmont to produce distinct regional wines.
