About the estate

The Azienda Agricola Roberto Ghio – Vigneti Piemontemare estate is run by Roberto Ghio as the seventh generation of winemakers, tracing its roots back to 1881. Spanning approximately 45 hectares of vineyards in the municipality of Bosio, the property is situated in a unique borderland setting between the mountains and the Ligurian Sea. The estate cultivates numerous historic single plots, each shaped by distinct soil compositions and microclimates. Production encompasses wines from the regional denominations of Alta Langa, Colli Tortonesi, Gavi, Monferrato, and Ovada. The winery follows an environmentally conscious approach, avoiding the use of herbicides and minimizing sulfur usage in the cellar.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Cortese and Caricalasino. The estate sells to retail.
