The Quinta da Covela estate is situated in Baião within the Vinho Verde region and focuses on certified organic farming. Acquired in 2011 by Marcelo Lima and Tony Smith, the property lies in a scenic area recognized as the cradle of the Avesso grape variety. The daily operations embrace a holistic vision dedicated to preserving biodiversity across the vineyards, orchards, and gardens. Harvesting is conducted manually to produce elegant and pure white and rosé wines. Additionally, the estate offers wine tourism and gastronomic experiences for visitors.
