About the estate

The Quinta de Paços estate is located in Barcelos within the Vinho Verde wine region and has been owned by the same family for over 500 years and at least 16 generations. The approximately 18 hectares of vineyards are distributed across Barcelos and Monção, featuring granitic and pebble-rich soils where grape varieties such as Loureiro, Arinto, Alvarinho, Padeiro de Basto, and Vinhão are cultivated. Vineyard management follows integrated production standards focused on environmental sustainability. The estate produces authentic wines with a distinct regional character, utilizing traditional cultivation methods.
