About the estate
The Caves Campelo estate was founded in 1951 and is located in Barcelos within the Vale do Ave in the Vinho Verde Wine Demarcated Region. The operations of the winery include the vinification, bottling, and commercialization of wines and wine spirits under various brands such as Campelo and Tapada do Marquês. Following its acquisition by José Carlos Lima & Sons in 2007, the company aims to personify the youthful spirit of the region while respecting traditional values. Today, the brand has a worldwide presence with exports to markets including Canada, the USA, and China.
