Aphros Wine

About the estate

The Aphros Wine estate in Refóios do Lima was founded in 2003 by Vasco Croft and is located within the Vinho Verde DOC denomination. The project is situated on a property that has belonged to the family since the 17th century and is recognized as a pioneer of biodynamic farming and winemaking in Portugal. The team includes experienced winemakers and consultants such as Miguel Viseu, Tiago Sampaio, and Dominique Massenot, who focus on ecological viticulture and indigenous grape varieties. The portfolio comprises a diverse range of white, red, sparkling, and natural wines that are distributed internationally.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Loureiro and Vinhão. The estate sells to importers, distributors and horeca. Export markets include Belgium, France, Germany and Italy.
