About the estate

The Quinta de Santa Teresa estate cultivates a total of 45 hectares of vineyards across several properties located in Baião within the Vinho Verde region. The company was established in 2005 by Alexandre and Dialina Gomes, building upon a multi-generational family farming tradition. The portfolio features indigenous grape varieties such as Avesso, Arinto, and Alvarinho, which thrive on predominantly granitic soils. All vineyards are farmed under certified organic practices, placing a strong emphasis on biodiversity and ecosystem preservation. The distribution of the wines relies heavily on exports to numerous international markets.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Avesso and Arinto. Export markets include Belgium.
