Eolis

About the estate

The Eolis estate is located in the southeast of Bulgaria in the foothills of the Eastern Rhodope mountains and is characterized by Bulgarian-Swiss roots and a family winemaking tradition. Established in 2005, the winery cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards with international and indigenous grape varieties on deep clay-sandy soils. The sunny region benefits from cool evening breezes from the mountains and wide temperature ranges that support slow grape ripening. Organic and biodynamic agricultural approaches are applied in the vineyard to preserve biodiversity and the natural balance of the soil. With an annual production of under 10,000 bottles, artisanal, elegant, and nuanced wines are crafted.
