About the estate

The Росалеа winery was founded in 2014 by two Czech entrepreneurs and wine enthusiasts in Harmanli within the Thracian Lowlands PGI. Spanning eleven hectares of vineyards in the South Sakar region on cinnamon and grey forest soils, the estate cultivates varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay, Mavrud, and Rubin. The vineyards are tended with a focus on manual labor and respect for the balance between human effort and nature. Guided by the team, the cellar produces white, red, and rosé wines, including single-varietal barrel-aged wines from the Writer’s wine series. Distribution is handled directly by the estate as well as through online orders.
