Yamantievi

About the estate

The Yamantievs estate was founded in 1997 in Ivaylovgrad, located in the foothills of the Eastern Rhodopes in southern Bulgaria. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of over 400 meters on mineral soils in a region featuring a warm climate and influences from the nearby sea. The grape portfolio of the winery includes Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Traminer, Viognier, Alicante Bouschet, Muscat Blanc, alongside the traditional varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The cultivation of the estate-owned vineyards combines traditional approaches with modern practices in viticulture. The resulting wines are characterised by distinct aromas, fruitiness and density.
