About the estate

The Капатово estate was founded in 1992 and is located not far from Melnik across a total area of over 1200 decares, which includes orchards and olive groves alongside 27 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are planted with white grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as red varieties including Syrah, Marselan, Petit Verdot, Primitivo, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan. Situated within the Thracian Lowlands PGI, the estate uses its harvested grapes to produce wines and a spirit under its brand name. The winery has gradually expanded its vineyard holdings over the years and introduced various blends and single-varietal wines.
