About the estate
The HM Lang estate is located in Stein an der Donau in the Kremstal wine region and is managed by Markus Lang. The vineyards, which include sites such as Steiner Schreck, Steiner Braunsdorfer, and Lemberg, are farmed biodynamically. The winery focuses on a distinct style with spontaneously fermented wines that mature in wooden casks and stoneware amphorae. A notable feature in winemaking is the use of a self-developed steel-beam press. All wines are released to the market unfiltered after several years of aging.
