About the estate

The Zöhrer estate looks back on a winemaking tradition dating back to 1270 at its historical location in Krems an der Donau. The vineyards are situated on stony terraces as well as loess and primary rock soils around the Kremstal, where the interplay of warm summer days and cool nights shapes the wines. For generations, the family has cultivated the vineyards with a focus on grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Grüner Veltliner. In the cellar, characteristic wines are crafted through manual labor and a precise alignment with the terroir-driven profile.
