About the estate

The Mittelbach Franz winery, located in Rohrendorf bei Krems in the Kremstal region, is managed in the third generation by Franz Mittelbach. Across 25 hectares of vineyards, the family-run estate cultivates Grüner Veltliner, Gelber Muskateller, Riesling, and Zweigelt on fertile loess soils in sites such as Gebling, Wolfsgraben, and Kremser Sandgrube. The history of the estate dates back over 100 years, with the next generation already contributing fresh ideas alongside the family. The harvested grapes are crafted into Kremstal DAC wines that reflect the character of the region.
