The Malat estate located in Palt in the Kremstal region looks back on a centuries-long history and has been run as a family business for many generations. The oldest section of the cellar dates back to the 18th century, providing the winery with a substantial historical wealth of experience. Cultivation extends across numerous distinct vineyards in the Kremstal featuring diverse soil structures such as loess, mica schist, and gneiss. These geological conditions offer ideal prerequisites for the cultivation of grape varieties including Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Through careful work in the vineyard and cellar, the wines reflect the character of their respective origin.
