About the estate

The Wandraschek winery in Krems an der Donau is a family-run business specialising in the production of red wines. The history of the estate began with the first Cabernet Sauvignon from 1992, which evolved into a small boutique winery over the years. Today, the family manages a vineyard area of slightly more than one hectare, placing great emphasis on manual work in both the vineyard and the cellar. All wines are aged exclusively in French oak barrels to allow them time for harmonious development. The estate building, constructed in 2012, was personally planned by the senior chef.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Grüner Veltliner. The estate sells to retail and distributors. Export markets include Switzerland and Netherlands.
