About the estate
The Domaine de Monthelys estate was founded in 2018 and is located in Laurens within the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The five hectares of vineyards are divided into five plots surrounding the medieval village of Cabrerolles in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park. Grape varieties such as Carignan, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Grenache Blanc, and Marsanne thrive on schist soils at an altitude of 300 meters. The winery operates with respect for nature without herbicides or chemicals, harvests the grapes by hand into crates, and vinifies them in stainless steel to express the character of the AOC Faugères and AOC Languedoc appellations.
