About the estate
The Domaine Cauvy estate is located in Caussiniojouls in the Languedoc region and is managed by three generations of the family. The history of the winery dates back to 1984, when Pierre and Philippe Cauvy began clearing land in the garrigue. Today, the estate spans twenty hectares of vineyards within the Faugères denomination. The vineyards are planted with Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan. Traditional vinification methods are applied, with eighty percent of the wine matured in tanks and twenty percent in oak barrels.
