Domaine Schisterelle

About the estate

The Domaine Schisterelle estate is located in Laurens in the Languedoc region and is managed by Céline and Philippe as a small family operation. Founded in 2009, the winery covers a vineyard area of eight hectares within the AOC Faugères denomination. The vineyards are situated on schist soils, which act as underground water reservoirs and contribute freshness and elegance to the wines. The vignerons apply a handcrafted approach with low yields for viticulture and vinification. The grape varieties include Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, which are used to produce red, rosé, and white wines.
