About the estate

The Domaine Ratte estate in Arbois, Jura, was founded in 2015 after leaving the local cooperative, building upon a lifelong winemaking background. The vineyards are cultivated according to biodynamic methods, incorporating practices such as soil management, pruning, and the application of herbal preparations. The planted grape varieties include Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Poulsard, Chardonnay, and Savagnin. Specific parcels like the Grandcuroulet lieu-dit feature clay-limestone soils rich in fossils, contributing additional minerality to the resulting wines. The portfolio encompasses white and red wines produced under the Arbois appellation designation.
