About the estate
The Domaine de l'Aster estate is located in Péret within the Hérault department and spans a vineyard area of eight hectares. The family winery, whose history dates back several centuries, is situated at the foot of the Malhubert volcano across the AOC Languedoc, AOC Languedoc Pézenas, and Clairette du Languedoc appellation zones. The vineyards benefit from a rare geological influence characterized by basaltic and volcanic soils with diverse compositions. The traditional grape variety spectrum includes Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and various white varieties, which are harvested by hand and vinified in the estate's own cellar. The estate was established under its current name in 2014, building upon a long-standing viticultural history passed down through generations.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Petit Manseng.
