About the estate

The Cave Coopérative La Clairette d'Adissan estate was founded in 1928 and builds upon a winemaking heritage stretching back to Gallo-Roman times. The vineyards are situated in an area benefiting from a dry, sunny Mediterranean climate and soils composed of Villafranchian terraces featuring quartz, flint, and limestone. The estate produces expansive white wines, mineral and fruity rosés, as well as powerful, spicy red wines. At the core of the portfolio is the Clairette grape variety, used notably to craft the distinctive sweet wine of the AOC Clairette d'Adissan denomination. This small, independent cooperative brings together winegrowers dedicated to preserving this historical local heritage.
