Domaine Castera

About the estate

The Domaine Castera estate looks back on a history dating back to 1895 and cultivates 12.3 hectares of vineyards in the Béarn region. The vines are located in Monein across four distinct sites which are divided into numerous micro-plots. The grape variety portfolio features local and endemic varieties such as Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu, and Camaralet. The winery operates organically, relies on massal selection for new plantings, and applies certain biodynamic practices. The produced wines fall under the AOC Jurançon and AOC Jurançon sec denominations.
