About the estate

The Domaine de Cabarrouy estate is located in Lasseube at the extreme southern edge of the AOC Jurançon in France. Founded in the 1980s by Patrice Limousin and Freya Skoda, the winery encompasses 5.3 hectares of vineyards managed within a property surrounded by forests and meadows. The vines grow on south to southwest-facing slopes featuring clay-limestone soils and a flysch subsoil under the climatic influence of the nearby Pyrenees. The portfolio includes various Jurançon wines, ranging from dry to sweet styles fermented and aged primarily in stainless steel tanks as well as barrels. All vineyard work relies on manual practices and successive selective hand harvesting.
