About the estate

The Domaine de Lagarde estate has been run as a family business for six generations and is located in Quercy Blanc within the Lot department. Covering a vineyard area of approximately twenty hectares, Jean-Jacques Bousquet manages plots on the plateaus of the Causse with shallow, clay-limestone soils. The climate combines influences from both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, resulting in expressive and complex wines. The primary focus is on Malbec, yielding wines with a deep dark color, silky tannins, and notes of black fruits, cherries, and liquorice. The winery operates with a strong commitment to the environment and holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification.
