Chateau Saint Martin des Champs

About the estate

The historic Château Saint Martin des Champs estate is located in Murviel-lès-Béziers in Languedoc and was acquired in the summer of 1997 by Michel Birot and his son Pierre. The winery has a rich family history and is run across several generations. The vineyards are situated on the initial slopes of the Cévennes, not far from the Mediterranean Sea. Farming is conducted in an integrated and environmentally conscious manner, while winemaking in the cellar combines traditional methods with modern technology. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Saint-Chinian and IGP Pays d'Oc denominations, which are distributed both locally and internationally.
