About the estate
The Chateau la Tour Penedesses estate manages 40 hectares of vineyards located in a valley nestled between hills and volcanic plateaus in the Languedoc region. The soils feature a diverse composition of acid-leaning schists, limestones, sandstones, and volcanic rocks including basalt. Due to the influence of distinct microclimates and warm summer days paired with cool nights, the grapes achieve a slow and steady maturation. The winery has operated under certified organic agricultural practices since 2004 in respect of the environment. Its wines are produced within the Côtes de Thongue IGP, AOC Languedoc-Pézenas, and AOC Faugères denominations.
