About the estate

The Château de Verreux estate manages a vineyard area of nine hectares in Arbois in the Jura region. This historic property was once owned by Joseph Girard, who played a key role in the establishment of France's first controlled designation of origin. The vineyards are cultivated according to biodynamic principles to promote biodiversity and maintain healthy soils. In the cellars, winemaking involves minimal intervention to faithfully reflect the characteristics of the terroir. The winery is dedicated to preserving its significant historical heritage.
