About the estate
The historic Château de Jonquières is one of the oldest family estates in Languedoc, with origins dating back to the 12th century. Since 2014, the property in Jonquières has been managed by Charlotte and Clément de Béarn. Spanning ten hectares of organically farmed vineyards, the estate produces wines under the AOC Languedoc, AOC Terrasses du Larzac, and Pays d'Hérault IGP denominations. The vineyards benefit from the cooling influence of the Larzac plateau, which promotes a slow and gradual ripening of the grapes. In the cellar, gentle and traditional vinification methods are employed to express the unique character of the terroir.
The eno directory lists 2 wines. The estate sells to retail, horeca and importers.
