About the estate
The Serre-Blanc estate looks back on a family history that began in 1926 with Victorin Aubert in Tulette and was continued in 2022 by Charles Aubert through the acquisition of the property in Cairanne. The vineyard area spans 20 hectares on the sunny, high-altitude slopes of Montagne du Ventabren in the Rhône Valley, featuring soils composed of calcareous gravel with flint and marl. The grape varieties cultivated include Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault for red wines, alongside Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, and Bourboulenc for whites. Farming is conducted organically with a transition towards biodynamics, supported by manual labor and 100% hand harvesting. In the cellar, these practices yield characteristic white and red wines within the AOC Cairanne, Côtes du Rhône, and Côtes du Rhône Villages appellations.
The eno directory lists 5 wines. The estate sells to horeca.
