About the estate

The Domaine Isles Saint Pierre estate was founded in 1927 by Pierre Chassaing in Arles in the Rhône Valley and is currently managed by the family in the third and fourth generations. The 230 hectares of vineyards are situated on an island in the river, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate tempered by the proximity of the sea and the mistral wind. The deep, sandy-loam soils provide ideal conditions for a diverse array of grape varieties, ranging from Provençal classics to experimental and disease-resistant vines. The family farms the property in harmony with nature, producing wines in all three colors.
