About the estate

The Domaine de la Citadelle estate was founded in 1990 in Ménerbes at the foot of the Luberon and has been managed by Valérie and Yannick Panagiotis since late 2022. The property encompasses around 40 hectares of vineyards farmed organically and certified with the HVE label. The vines are rooted across four distinct terroirs featuring soils of sandy marl, gravelly and silty Miocene sands, and calcareous sandstone. These plots accommodate 15 different grape varieties, led by Syrah for reds and Roussanne for whites. Vinification takes place in a modern gravity-flow winery built into the hillside to process the grapes gently.

The eno directory lists 29 wines, mostly from Syrah and Grenache. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
