Clos Romane

About the estate

The Domaine Clos Romane winery is located in the centre of Cairanne and is run as a family estate spanning four generations. Four generations of passionate winegrowers have shaped the history of the property, where Nadine and Stéphane vinified their first vintage in 2011 and were later joined by their children. Covering a vineyard area of 30 hectares, the estate features clay-limestone soils stretching from the terraces of the Aygues to the highest plots on the mountain. The vineyards are cultivated organically with exclusively manual harvesting and rigorous grape sorting. Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled concrete tanks is followed by ageing in large oak barrels.
