About the estate
The Monastere de Solan estate is located in Languedoc-Roussillon and was founded in 1992 by a religious community committed to organic farming. The vineyards currently cover five hectares of old vines situated on the terroirs of the Cévennes, complemented by newer plantings. Farming is strictly organic, featuring hand harvesting and micro-parcel vinification within an ecologically constructed, semi-submerged cellar. Inspired by Burgundian traditions, the estate focuses on producing characterful blended cuvées. The wines are marketed under the Cévennes IGP designation.
